  1. Automachron Readme

  3. - Help is provided as an html file called achron.html.  Automachron
  4.   will load this file (provided you have a browser configured to
  5.   automatically load html files, most likely you do).
  6.   
  7. - To get help for a specific item in the properties dialog box
  8.   click the question mark button (upper right in title bar)
  9.   then point and click on the item in question.

  17.   Automachron is and will continue to be freeware but is not at
  18.   the moment public domain.  You can use it as you please for 
  19.   personal use.  You may not sell it for profit although you may
  20.   include it for distribution at no cost.  If you're a giant 
  21.   corporation and you find that Automachron is just the ticket  
  22.   to keep your workstation's time sync'd and you have a few bucks
  23.   to spare feel free to send me a donation -- contact me at the
  24.   email address below.  The software is provided "AS IS" without
  25.   warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied.  This software
  26.   has not been designed to be used in any mission critical situations
  27.   and as such One Guy Coding cannot accept responsibility for the
  28.   use or misuse of this software.

  30. Manual Installation
  31.   
  32.   - create a directory (eg. c:\Program Files\One Guy Coding)
  33.   - unzip the distribution in that directory
  34.   - run automachron
  35.   - set a NTP host (ask your ISP first if they have one, if
  36.     not check out http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~mills/ntp/servers.htm
  37.     Be sure to ask permission on hosts that require you to do so.

  39. Manual Deinstallation

  41.   - make sure Automachron is not starting automatically and stop the
  42.     program
  43.   - delete the installation directory (see above)
  44.   - run regedit (careful) and delete the key,
  45.   
  46.       HKCU\Software\One Guy Coding\Automachron\4
  47.  
  48.   - if you've used the -s switch to achron.exe then you will also
  49.     have to delete HKLM\Software\One Guy Coding\Automachron\4
